Welp. Jeep announced they were bringing the Tuscadero color to the Gladiators so my wife was of course smitten, so we ordered a JT Willys in that color! It’ll take like 4 to 6 months since we’re overseas but we’re extremely excited! It’s no Recon EV but it’s something we’ve always wanted (a...
If I end up in a bigger city back in the US I’d absolutely go all electric, I’m not discrediting that vs an ICE option. But if we end up in like BFE South Dakota or something I don’t think I’d want electric lol
Now my dream is to have a few acres with a small solar farm on it to which I’d be...
I’d take a turbo 4cyl Recon or a hybrid one with the same motor 🙌
I’d prefer the all electric but a hybrid or regular turbo would be perfect motors for this size SUV.
The vehicles themselves are b-e-a-utiful and ridiculously roomy (read BIG AS HELL) and I think that’s the major turn off for many. Well, besides their ridiculous MSRP and market BS dealers add on top.
if they would’ve come to market as Jeep’s to begin with, and not tried to go all in on this...

Nothing new if you keep a pulse on the brand;
[Barely] cut prices across the board.
The new Jeep Wagoneer S (EV) is coming this fall.
the Jeep Recon should be available next year (didn’t give any more info though)...
Oh boy, if the Recon isn’t around these specs/price range, it won’t do well in the market, long term. Maybe at first it’ll do OK cause the only moderately off road capable EVs are the Rivians and GMC Hummers, but as more affordable competition pops up…it’ll drive Jeeps price point too. I’m...
It honestly looks better than the mules we’d been seeing a few months back. I’m here for the twin turbo, inline 6 motor. That thing is gonna be wicked in these. The death of the V8 hurts, but that motor has some balls. Hoping the muscle car community will converge to the dark side of EV and/or...

From the JL Wrangler forum, they’ve shared two teaser pics thus far too.
The stamped WILLYX on the hood is kinda neat, I’m sure it’ll just be the Rubicon X package but on the Willys...
Following the rabbit trail from one source to the next, lol, I found the actual patent which was just filed late January 🤦♂️ we’re definitely not seeing this thing at the Easter Jeep Safari like I was hoping. If we do, it’d probably just be sitting there...
This actually really frustrates me because it shows that they don’t have any solidified plans for any more reveals to happen soon.
Jeep is notorious for doing big reveals at the NYAS and/or the Easter Jeep Safari and usually do teasers leading up to them. With them axing all auto shows this...
I’ve always wanted to go to MOAB for EJS…or for the Nissan event they do annually out there, GONE MOAB I think was what it was called? I just to have a Frontier that I had ambitions of doing fun stuff too…but was a broke college kid lmao
Anyway, if I lived in Utah or Idaho I’d def be...
I was tempted to make a new thread about it, but I decide not against that lol
who thinks we’ll get new Recon news at Easter Jeep Safari in March? 👀 Jeep always brings their newest concepts and actual future cars, so why not the Recon!
I hope they do and I hope they announce all the...
I like it as a Grand Cherokee but Electric (I like the current generation of GC a lot…especially the L’s).
I foresee that sucker being pricey though. That being said, I’m hoping it’ll be pricey so the Recon will be the entry level EV for Jeep (praying sub $50K but not holding my breath).
*just read the comments in that Jeep IG post and WOW what a toxic place, man. I get that most Jeep owners are ICE loving fanatics, and never wanna give that up (as I am one myself) but at the same time I have an open mind to the future that a lot of people apparently don’t have for some reason...
I suggested they call it the Wagoneer Aurora or Barksdale (something like that). I had googled what some OG concept names were for the original Wagoneer(s) were and those were the original two concept names. Thought they would’ve been fitting for what that Wagoneer S looks like. Guess we’ll see...
Probably wishful thinking on my part, but I’m over here hoping for an affordable Recon. If they do models like the Wrangler; Sport, Willys, Sahara/Overland, Rubicon, etc. with the Sport still being AWD but starting at mid 40s, that’d be very interesting to me…although, I’d admittedly want the...
