Interesting. We’ve seen a customer report here than his order is in “D” status. We’ve seen the guys at Jeep Jamboree already take delivery of theirs. One of my local dealers has a Fathom Blue one already ordered……and that’s supposed to be a late availability color! So I don’t know what Jeep...
With orders being taken and at least one delivery already confirmed, I'm surprised at how dead this forum is! I figured things would be heating up by now.
Jeep Jamboree on facebook received a Recon. I am assuming Jeep gave it to them for advertising purposes but I can’t confirm that. Anyhow, this is the first one in the hands of civilians that I’ve seen.
Yeah, the starting price is $67k including destination for the Moab trim. That'll be the first trim offered. I expect them to do a Sport trim for quite a bit less sometime in calendar year 2027.
The one big advantage Jeep has over Rivian is a dealer network that can provide service and...
Europe is irrelevant. The U.S. market has never followed the rest of the globe.
Twelve 4 Twelve? Almost universally panned by all the members of the huge JL forum.
Look, the Wrangler is the hinge that the entire brand swings upon. And I guess until now Jeep execs understood this. But...

What makes Recon special IS the electric...
While Bob Broderdorf's comments might have been soothing at the time, they really haven't provided any reality. We are now firmly into spring 2026 and Recon has been pushed back yet again. At this point we're hoping it'll arrive as a 2027 model. And with Jeep recently canceling the Wagoneer S...
Yeah I was leasing a F-150 Lightning and the depreciation was HORRIBLE. It lost $25k in value the week I drove it off the lot. I couldn't believe it. I knew EV stuff was poor in terms of resale, but that's just nuts.
I do see that Jeep is offering $8,750 in rebates to "returning customers"...
Yes. I would never "buy" an EV. I will only lease them. So if they don't do a leasing program for Recon it's an automatic no go for me.
Sadly, if we look at Wagoneer S which is the closest thing they've got in the stable right now, there are no leasing programs of any kind shown.
This is...
