Jeep Recon official unveiling this week (ahead of LA Auto Show)

Well, it was unveiled in 2021, but now we should get more info. My biggest question is dimensions.

The vehicle will be revealed this week ahead of the Los Angeles Auto Show after first debuting as a concept vehicle in 2021.

Broderdorf said the end of federal incentives is expected to impact sales across the industry, including with the Recon, but the new SUV functions as an EV “bookend” alongside the sportier Wagoneer S for the Jeep brand’s electric portfolio.

“I’m not going to just chase volume just to chase volume,” he said during a recent media call. “I want to sell cars in the right way. Everybody who wants a [battery-electric vehicle], Recon, I want to make sure that we’re there for them. After that, it doesn’t really matter to me.”

Jeep has released few details about the Recon other than it will be a “brother” to the Wrangler — Jeep’s iconic, off-road and open-air SUV. Jeep previously touted a smaller concept version of the vehicle achieving 0-60 mph in roughly two seconds.

Just found this as well. If these specs mentioned for dimensions are correct, it’s exactly what I’ve been wanting. They say Wagoneer S length, or about 5” longer then Wrangler unlimited

EDIT: well the article has been pulled off-line. But it was an in-depth review of the Recon Moab. I think it said the Moab had about 9.1” of ground clearance, 220ish miles range, has had extensive off-road testing. Other trims will be more like 250 miles. 6 fun colors, plus four in the white, black, gray family. Plus 27 pictures.
