First Recon in the Wild Surfaces on Facebook

Jeep Jamboree on facebook received a Recon. I am assuming Jeep gave it to them for advertising purposes but I can’t confirm that. Anyhow, this is the first one in the hands of civilians that I’ve seen.

It looks a lot like the Jeep Liberty KK models that were sold about 15 years ago.

What it does not look like, at all, is the Ford Bronco. I have no idea where people get that from.

A month now in the hands of Jeep Jamboree and not another word since they got it. That can't be good.


I've test driven the R2 twice now. It's really good, you guys. You can tell that it was designed by a team all on the same page and that the company cares about the product.

I'm certain the R2 is really good.

It's also really expensive, and they are intentionally screwing the lease deal on R2 to force people to "buy" them at over $1,000 per month. Hard pass....
