Whats going on with the Recon?

Every day I check for new info on the Recon.
I've been super interested since it was announced. Perfect next step after my 4xe wrangler.
I thought I'd be turning in my wrangler and leasing a Recon by now. Seems like politics have shaken up whatever plans Jeep had.


I still can't wait for it to come out. I hope they keep it or primarily offer it as a 100% EV.
A range extended version could be cool. I'm totally comfortable with all electric, but I get that a lot of people would feel better with some extra range via gas.
The 4xe wrangler I wished was an EREV. Off roading with doors and top off in silence was a treat.
Honestly, any driving in all electric mode is a treat.
It's why I want a damn Recon.
