This was a good video. Solid walkthrough of the recon including a pretty in depth look at the infotainment system. TFL also says at the end that they have a road impressions video coming. I think you’re right that they’re gearing up for release.

I'm excited that the '26 has J1772/CCS charging. That's what I already have wired up in my garage at home since Ford EVs have used that for the last 5 years. So I'm ready to go in that regard!

The title of this thread needs to be changed to 2026. The reason is that there are some significant changes coming on the 2027 models next year.

I still don't blame them fully for that. The 4xe is great and I've loved it for 5 years. But the Samsung battery is the problem.

by the way, found a video on a YouTube short that mentions they can't comment on their test drive of the Recon until Sept 9. So guessing that's when they'll all go live. Tommy gave kind of an exclusive walk around, the behind the wheel experience is next week

Makes sense now why the first retail orders are scheduled to start shipping September 5th. That means they'll be hitting dealers sometime around the 9th.
