Recon Dealer Pre-Order List [earlier spot in line?]

Hi,

New Recon forum member.

I contacted a well known, high volume dealer about Recon pre-ordering. He's received no info yet, but placing me on the list.

If you are interested in a Recon - if the dealer can get larger number of pre-orders, we could get better pricing and reservation status.

Since the Jeep community is more slow to "do EV", I'm posting here if others here are interested as sort of an "early group buy interest" list.

I own a Gladiator & Wrangler - purchased Glad from them & they have great reputations in Jeeping community. They ship nationwide... I purchased ~$5k below my CO dealers even with cross country shipping and never leaving home.

Thanks for sharing info on the dealer, can you please share the name and location of the dealership?

I visited two Jeep dealers outside of Chicago and neither even seemed aware of the Recon. I asked to be placed on a wait list, but don’t have any confidence.

I contacted a large, high volume Jeep dealership in Kentucky today. The new car ordering manager says production on Recon has been pushed to late summer 2026. He also says Jeep is telling them that only 1,200 Recons will be produced for the U.S. for the first model year.

So, if you want one you better stay in active conversation with your dealership so you'll have a place in line.

Thanks for the information. I should find out my approximate timeline on an R2 in June as well. If that sounds like it’s in the sooner side, then I can wait until next year for a Recon Overland. We’re looking to replace both of our vehicles with EV’s.
